Transition–Path, Inc. has pioneered an efficient means of visually mapping an employee's role, tasks and responsibilities, including many that are not documented anywhere—all through a remotely conducted hour–long interview. The employee guides the creation and checks its accuracy. Employed as an optional starting point for many of the Leonard–Barton Group workshops and services, these maps collect and present information in a readily accessible reference document that can be used by the experts interviewed, anyone to whom the expert wishes to transfer knowledge, and by the organization.
